When I came into a situation where some of my rooms were developing a musty smell, I started franticly looking for a solution. I reached out to everyone I knew in the business to get any tips. I came up with temporary fixes but it became costly and time consuming. I wasn’t happy with the solution so continued to experiment with different methods. The other day, the power went out from a bad storm, the sump pumps did not work, and I got over 1 foot of water in my basement - a basement of 3,000 square feet. The next day, I rented an auxiliary pump and got the water out. Of course, soon after that, there was an odor of mold and mildew. Our client is Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and we were very pleased with the result.
